It seemed routine. Alla Nadienko was admitted to Sutter Roseville for treatment related to Kidney Stones. A day later the 81 year old grandmother was in ICU covered in bruises from severe injuries to her face and head and paralyzed and comatose after being rushed into surgery for a life-threatening brain hemorrhage. According to Seretskiy, Sutter Roseville has not taken responsibility, the family has not received an apology and no information has been forthcoming for that day regarding who was on duty or what circumstances lead to her injuries. “Even her medical records which were requested right after the incident were completely erased.” Seretskiy went on to say “based on her appearance and lack of reasonable explanation, I can only assume that my mother was physically assaulted by someone in the hospital.
After Nadienko was released to a skilled nursing facility and between January and March ping-ponged between facilities several times. After returning home her family hired a team of licensed professionals to provide care and she is improving. The family is paying out of pocket as their only other choice was hospice.
