There was a multiple motorcycle accident on Interstate 5 recently that ended up sending 4 riders to the hospital, 1 of the riders had serious and life threatening injuries. This was a motorcycle group that was riding together when the accident happened.

Witness statements put together by the California Highway Patrol showed the lead rider in the pack was riding carelessly and that lead to the accident.  Sadly, as is often the case, the other riders were collected in the aftermath and due to their proximity to the careless rider they were collected when the incident happened.

Just about every time we drive there are drivers with little to no regard for the safety of other drivers.  They speed, follow too closely, weave in and out of lanes and drive after they have been drinking even just a little.  Their actions lead to injuries and this is a predictable as the sun rising.  You have to protect yourself and think for the drivers that aren’t thinking for themselves who are as a result putting you at risk.
