Parents are being notified in time for Halloween of a candy recall of 70 million liquid roller candies from two companies. The candies are recalled for being a potential choking hazard after a 7-year-old girl died while consuming the product. The candies — Cocco Candy Rolling Candy and various flavors of Slime Licker Sour Rolling Candy from Candy Dynamics — come in plastic bottles with a rolling ball that holds the liquid candy. The ball can detach from containers, creating a choking hazard, the Consumer Product Safety Commission reported. Anyone with the recalled products is advised to stop consuming them and take them away from children.
Details on the recalled candy – Slime Licker Sour Rolling Candy sold in 2-ounce and 3-ounce containers in blue (blue razz), red (strawberry), green (sour apple) and pink (black cherry) packaging with “TOXIC WASTE” brand and “SLIME LICKER Sour Rolling Liquid Candy” or “MEGA TOXIC WASTE” brand and “SLIME LICKER Sour Rolling Liquid Candy” printed on the front label.
